The human minibrain includes brain cells in a microfluidic chip. In this lab, not only the brain but also as a gut-brain axis, blood-brain barrier and blood vessels are studied using microfluidic chips.
Our lab studies neurodegenerative diseases and dementia by investigating cellular signals using microfluidic chips, which help us understand disease mechanisms and explore potential treatments.
Our lab applies microfluidic models to explore quantum biological phenomena in the brain, focusing on how cellular signaling may involve quantum effects in neurodegenerative diseases.
